(M)an: Dude! Randi Weingarten, the president of the American
Federation of Teachers, is a solutions-focused compassionate fighter. She was
making the case for a voiceless victim in this Republican Sequestration and Government
Shutdown distraction purposefully set into motion to avert attention from
state-level cheats like Governors Tom Corbett of Pennsylvania and Chris
Christie of New Jersey.
(D)ude: Man! Randi Weingarten? I saw her appearing on
multiple shows this morning discussing the death of a twelve-year-old asthmatic
child, Laporshia Massey, due to the Philadelphia budget cuts implemented by
Governor Corbett that left Laporshia’s school without a staff nurse.
M: Dude! My sister has asthma. It is a chronic condition and
requires a lot of responsibility and constant vigilance to protect the sufferer
from harm. Having been the sibling of an asthmatic since elementary school, I
remember the relationship my parents and sister had with the school nurse.
D: Man! Does Rebecca still have a nebulizer and inhalers to
get her through, like in school? The school nurse kept inhalers in a locked
medicine cabinet and there were some nebulizers in the backroom closet. It was
fascinating to see the nurse cleaning the equipment as often as required. It is
hard work! Quite the commitment on part of the school nurse.
M: Dude! One of the nebulizers most probably was Rebecca’s
that you saw back then. Yeah, she’s still got the inhalers and a nebulizer.
Asthma is not just a condition. Actually, it is a chronic disease. My parents
always were on the lookout for signs and symptoms, because asthma is so
deceptively simple to grasp theoretically. But it is physical hell upon the
sufferer.
D: Man! What about the physical hell upon minority and
low-income public school children and adolescents who have type 1 diabetes,
epilepsy, anemia, and sports related injuries due to playground activity,
physical education, and sports? Kids these days are surviving childhood cancer
and must manage their ongoing treatment plans consistently. And what about the
child who is put at-risk for becoming the school outcast because of a disease
like AIDS?
M: Dude! Imagine having a chronic illness otherwise under control
be known to the faculty. I am not certain whether or not there is a Hippocratic
oath for teachers and educators to take upon licensure. But school nurses do,
as health professionals, hold steadfastly to patient confidentiality as well as
wellbeing.
D: Man! What about the four-hour mob that descended upon the
World War II Memorial on the National Mall yesterday? What about the metal
barricades that Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz had orchestrated with their own
federally registered political action committee SarahPAC, circa 2009?
M: Dude! Senator Ted Cruz is George W. Bush’s crutch. Cruz
was hired by Bush-Cheney in 1999 as a policy wonk like Representative Paul Ryan
of Wisconsin likes to refer to himself still, despite a non-budget budget proposal
that remains brutally flawed. Whereas Paul Ryan is incapable of revision, Ted
Cruz’s inflated ego has a serial killer’s instinct and he botches and rewrites
to the point of total political chaos, a trait that Cruz and Palin share deeply
together. The two are in the midst of an affair of the simpleminded right now, evilly
excited by rallying prepaid and prearranged miscreants to desecrate national
monuments and historic sites in Washington, DC by mixing in with legitimate war
veterans who are trying to honor their fallen brothers and sisters in uniform.
D: Man! That must be really terrifying for the legitimate
war vets! To be subjected into a crowd of premeditated mayhem and destruction.
Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz ought to have their SarahPAC held responsible in recovering the mess made yesterday and
be held liable for trashing and vandalizing government property.
M: Dude! Governor Tom Corbett and the State of Pennsylvania ought
to be held accountable for the untimely death of Laporshia Massey.
D: Man! Governor Corbett and the State of Pennsylvania are withholding
the $45 million in federal grant money from the Philadelphia public school
system. Do you think Corbett and the GOP, including his staunchest supporter
and neighboring New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, are methodically instating
a government shutdown and Thursday’s government default for the purposes of
personally pocketing government money?
M: Dude! The GOP Republican Tea Partiers are attempting to
confuse everybody, creating an existential havoc that has collapsed due to
their own lackluster leadership. I mean, who in their right mind selects Sarah
Palin and Ted Cruz and Rand Paul and Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush as presidential
material and potential cultural icons?
D: Man! Senators John McCain and Mike Lee and Time Magazine
or Peggy Noonan and the Wall Street Journal and Mary Matalin?
M: Dude! The GOP wants payback. The Republican Party
newcomers in 2010, the ones Diane Sawyer questionably rounded up and conducted
a sit-down with upon their winning seats in Congress, came for only one purpose
and that was to pillage the states and national governments with a program of
continuing heavy military involvement and warfare, perhaps even pillaging the
countries of the Middle East that celebrate a rich heritage of multicultural alliances.
D: Man! Governor Chris Christie and Governor Tom Corbett campaigned
tirelessly to get Corbett the governorship of Pennsylvania, a predominantly “blue
state” like New Jersey. Not surprisingly, one of the first schemes Tom Corbett
backed, after winning the governorship with Chris Christie’s enthusiastic
assistance, was to split the state’s Electoral College vote in order to
essentially turn Pennsylvania into a “red state”.
M: Dude! Senator Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin are an evil
collaboration of fatuousness and injudiciousness. While Ted Cruz filed the
papers for Bush v. Gore in 2000 after putting together the legal team that
successfully won George W. Bush two terms in the White House, Sarah Palin was
using binoculars and telescopes to find Russia from her house.
D: Man! Her miscalculation was brought to her attention
after her interview with Charles Gibson during the McCain-Palin campaign. And
for Ted Cruz, he filed those papers with the Supreme Court of Florida and the
United States Supreme Court, the latter to go on to dismantle the Voting Rights
Act of 1965 while the former was in the state where Jeb Bush reigned as
governor from January 5, 1999 to January 2, 2007.
