(D)ude: Man! I’ve become dependent on BBC America for the
morning news and Hardball with Chris Matthews right before supper. Both have a
crispness that is unparalleled in American Media.
(M)an: Dude! I’m totally trying to understand the George H.
W. and George W. Bush presidencies and the total chaos that they left the
Middle East and South Asia in after their total 12 years in the White House.
D: Man! The spent one and one fifth decade in the White
House, it could be said. I’ll tell you what they did in that span of time, they
basically tore apart the Muslim countries and spread a marginalization campaign
of Islamophobia throughout the world.
M: Dude! According to a recent opinion piece in Aljazeera
dot COM, Maung Zarni of the London School of Economics brought forth the sad
reality of how even the female human rights activist Aung San Suu Kyi has intellectually
surrendered to an Islamophobic pretense. She has chosen to remain misinformed
of the facts, which Zarni clearly delineates as stemming from the seventies
onward.
D: Man! Why doesn’t Aung San Suu Kyi repent by just reading
Maung Zarni’s article and acknowledging her deliberate denial of what’s taking
place in Burma, now Myanmar, with 4% of the population?
M: Dude! If you think about it, Suu Kyi is protecting
herself from the military, which is currently running the country of Myanmar
with hate towards the Burmese Muslims there, like the Rohingya Muslims that aren’t
even recognized by the government!
D: Man! What are we to do?
M: Dude! First off, we have to protect our own media outlets
in the United States. Personally, I don’t entirely trust the big name
newspapers and prefer to Google cross-reference and read a worldwide mix of
articles from about as many corners of the world I can process without becoming
cross over American journalism’s inability to free itself from the corporate
grasp that has choked the Supreme Court of the United States’ six male justices
since 2010.
D: Man! And then what?
M: Dude! Secondly, we have to protect voters in the United
States. Wendy Davis can win the Texas governorship only if we secure two forms
of identification for all our brothers and sisters. That’s the only way to get
around the voter suppression hurdles being placed in front of US.
D: Man! Have you seen the way Jon Stewart and Stephen
Colbert have torn up the Affordable Care Act? Why would two brilliant men
subject themselves to enslavement in Pepsistan?
M: Dude! The Burmese media is silent, like the American
Media was during the reign of the Bush Dynasty, which cost US countless lives
in very Islamophobic war engagements. Bush Senior #41 put into place the forces
necessary to create the international turmoil that Bush Junior #43 exploited
for spoils like his paternal grandfather, a government contractor, had during
the World War.
D: Man! What about the newly minted Pepsicans Jon Stewart
and Stephen Colbert?
M: Dude! The state of Pepsistan laid its foundation last
week when Stewart and Colbert basically sold their shows to the Huffington
Right.
D: Man! The Huffington Right? What’s that? The latest in
Arianna Huffington’s efforts to preserve the Tea Party Right, which she ushered
into Congressional power with Stewart and Colbert’s assistance during the March
to Restore Sanity in 2010?
M: Dude! The Huffington Right descends upon American
democracy when progressives appear to disappear into the midst, especially when
there is a slump in defense spending and a steady movement towards peace
accords by the United States.
D: Man! We have to get our sisters and brothers to vote! Why
does Arianna Huffington do such collateral damage to democracy in America? Why
can’t she and her Tea Partiers see that their daughters stand to inherit so
much pain and persecution along with the instability that comes when American
democracy fails to protect the disenfranchised?
M: Dude! Arianna Huffington and Jon Stewart and Stephen
Colbert actually believe that they have secured enough treasure that their
children will inherit fenced in communities where likeminded moneybags
essentially go after each other by constantly competing to acquire the loudest
house and the tackiest personalities.
D: Man! Talking about the tackiest personalities, have you
heard of Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan’s latest mix up?
M: Dude! Imran Khan wants to block NATO trucks carrying
crucial supplies for American military personnel in Afghanistan through
Pakistan until the United States agrees to stop drone strikes targeted at
terrorist organizations and leaders. However, we must keep in mind that Imran
Khan lost the June 2013 election for Pakistan’s Prime Minister and is still
recovering from the loss to Nawaz Sharif.
D: Man! Nawaz Sharif’s the guy who built the highways in
Pakistan. And Imran Khan’s ex-wife was a good friend of Princess Diana of Wales.
Isn’t Imran Khan always frustrated and falling off platforms?
M: Dude! He fell off a forklift during a campaign rally this
summer. It might be that the brutal impact to his body and mind could have led
to the sore loser that he has become. Mohammed Hanif of the Guardian explained
Pakistani politics magnificently in a May 13, 2013 article entitled Pakistan Elections: How Nawaz Sharif beat
Imran Khan and what happens next.
D: Man! What’s the solution to move Pakistan forward?
M: Dude! Nawaz Sharif wants to provide electricity to all
Pakistanis. Surprisingly, this is a venture that Imran Khan has dealt with in
his charitable works. If Sharif and Khan could forget about party lines, with
Khan releasing himself from the grip of terrorists, and work together,
electricity in Pakistan can be a clean and modern endeavor.
D: Man! Huh?
M: Dude! The Imran Khan Foundation has already introduced
parts of Pakistan to solar powered technology via the “Lighting a Billion
Lives” project through Buksh Energy.
D: Man! I’ll tell you another source that is lighting billions
of lives. Barbara Buono attaining 40% of the vote in New Jersey’s gubernatorial
race has lit the way for women in United States politics. The question of how
to face a night like that has been accomplished by a woman of integrity and
mettle. Barbara Buono’s graceful composure throughout the campaign was
breathtakingly exemplary.
M: Dude! Barbara Buono has liberated women and opened
countless doors to the future for girls all over the world.
D: Man! Barbara Buono and Milly Silva will be the ones to
watch as the glass ceiling breaks further and quicker.
