(M)an: Dude! New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie
is the temperature gauge for the Tea Party GOP, winning the gubernatorial race
in the 2009 elections and assuming office on January 19, 2010.
(D)ude: Man! This is around the time the incoming class of
Tea Party congressional candidates were being groomed for the 2010 takeover of
the House of Representatives. There were secretive meetings being held around
the D.C. area as President Obama’s inauguration was being celebrated.
M: Dude! After starting off at a law firm in 1987, Christie
managed to become an elected official for Morris County, New Jersey, but that
too fizzed out when again and again Christie was sued for defamation, substituting “investigation” for
“inquiry” in one matter while negotiating 7 controversial deferred prosecution
agreements as federal prosecutor that favored his former boss John Ashcroft’s
consulting firm in one instance and his alma mater in another instance
concerning Bristol Myers, the drug company, handing over $5 million to Seton
Hall University School of Law.
D: Man! Chris Christie is infamous for misstating points and
then bailing out of the accusations he’s made at the last minute. That is very
much like the tactics of the Tea Party membership. Remember when, in 2010,
Chris Christie was caught with his hand in the cookie jar of $400 million worth
of federal education grants to New Jersey?
M: Dude! Christie’s Education Commissioner Bret Schundler
was the one with the cookie dough all over his mouth and the chocolate syrup
all over his hands, but still managed to get what he wanted: to be fired in
order to be able to receive unemployment coverage.
D: Man! I think we’re getting closer and closer to Wikipedia
and Online News becoming heavily right-winged. There are 3 really greedy
Microsoft shareholders who are demanding Bill Gates step down this year,
despite the fact that the iconic businessman inventor is already scheduled to
financially ease out of the company he cofounded by 2018 anyways.
M: Dude! Corporations like Coca-Cola and Johnson &
Johnson place 60 to 70% of free cash they attain as a result of phenomenal
sales back into the system as dividends for their shareholders to collect.
Microsoft, however, only allocates 40% of its free cash flow to shareholders to
collect as dividends. However, I agree with you, Bill Gates is a great capitol
allocator otherwise. We have to remember that Bill Gates is that honest genuine
friend who gave Paul Allen his share in shares despite Allen having to detour
out of the journeying to wealth due to Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 1982.
D: Man! Really?
M: Dude! It takes an immaterial courageous mind and heart to
do what Bill Gates did. I think Bill Gates is the last of the class acts in the
computer industry. I miss Steve Jobs, but I will become resentful of Microsoft
if its shareholders oust Bill Gates for being an inefficient capitol allocator.
Yeah, the shareholders might attain the $40 plus values of their stock, but will
have gutted the soul and generosity that Bill Gates and Melinda French embody.
D: Man! Talking about gutting the principles of soul and
generosity in one’s company, the Tea Party GOP and Chris Christie are, as you
said, testing the temperature of the water in terms of how to manipulate and
cheat themselves to a newfound power with assistance from one of the most constituent
offensive Supreme Courts to date. Look at the blatant disregard its Shelby
County decision has fostered in districts’ voting registration methodology.
Otherwise very relaxed and easygoing, but brutally questioning hawk eyes about
a certain minority constituent’s need for an interpreter or assistance in the
voting booth itself or anywhere in the vicinity of the court complex at
election time.
M: Dude! That’s been happening in small towns and rural
communities from the start!
D: Man! But it’s going to start happening in the cities and
urban districts!
M: Dude! I was looking at the New Jersey Voter Registration
Application form and was thinking why it asks for party affiliation.
D: Man! Why? Do they cheat in the tallying of votes when an
election is too close to call? Sounds likely, but I always answer differently
every time.
M: Dude! Have you actually reduced yourself to a Republican
in the new millennium?
D: Man! I have an underlying anxiety about signing myself
off as a Democrat! I sincerely think the vote I cast did not make a difference
in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections.
M: Dude! I wouldn’t be surprised if the recounts in both
cases were not altered purposefully for the election and reelection of George
W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
D: Man! I honestly think they play with voter registrations.
Have you ever looked into the eyes of an elections clerk? A certain light goes
off in the eyes of the right winged clerks. They prod too while you’re in the
voting booth with someone needing assistance.
M: Dude! You’re making the voting booth in the cities and
urban areas very questionable. Just as questionable as the rural White Flight
townships.
D: Man! I don’t get how a liberal leaning and an affiliation
for the Democratic Party are wrong. Why? Aren’t a conservative leaning and an
affiliation for the Republican Party wrong?
M: Dude! Those 3 shareholders at Microsoft are going to be
dictating everything if Bill Gates is let go. The Koch Brothers will have an
avenue, that through the avarice at Microsoft, to come in and take over the
presence of joviality and breadth and depth that is the Internet. The Internet
will not be a freedom fighting revolutionist as it has been until now. We are
at the mercy of Citizens United and the corporations that consider themselves
people too are mongering hooligans.
D: Man! The price of stock at Microsoft is $33.40; but
aren’t we in middle of a federal government shutdown anyways? Shouldn’t we be
concerned for the furloughed and the frantic that are at the mercy of the
Congressional Republicans?
M: Dude! Is it really too liberal for the major news
networks to televise the facts as they exist on the government websites? Can’t anyone look up usa.gov and check the status of services?
Do they even know that the Republican-led Shutdown is preventing permits and reviews for the planned energy
and transportations projects will stop, preventing companies from working on
the projects. Loans to rural communities will be halted?
D: Man! The midterm examinations are upon students
everywhere, but how dare we put our veterans through the hellishness of having
their compensation, pension, education, and multiple other benefits cut off in
the dire situation of an extended Republican-led
shutdown?
M: Dude! Remember that song from The Smiths? The one
entitled “Hooligan”?
D: Man! I gotcha! Hooligan,
hooligan, you’ll never ever do it again! Not until the next time! I
wouldn’t provide the GOP any reprieve for their self-made strategies of
Sequestration and now the Shutdown. I’m totally for the Republican Party to
self-annihilate. But they’re bogeymen and bogeywomen, I tell you! They’re like
those weeds that keep coming back, whack after whack of treatments.
