Man! Dude! Session #170

(D)ude: Man! These late night legislative ambushes from the Republican Party are becoming alarming. Do you think the Republican Party is callous with the lives of women and minorities because of the men on the Supreme Court aligning themselves with these conservative right-wingers?

(M)an: Dude! Yeah?

D: Man! What’s the matter?

M: Dude! I have been wracking my mind over how to disassemble and reassemble this handheld portable vacuum cleaner. I have read and read the manual to the point I cannot remember what it was I was trying to figure out in the first place!

D: Man! Reminds me of the Tudors and their flight-delayed storks! I think the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be staving off the press and their child will be allowed public outings aside the to and fro from the palaces when he or she is ten-years-old.

M: Dude! I would agree if it were not for Prince William’s job as a rescue pilot. He will have to return to work sooner or later!

D: Man! Well, let me help you in figuring your intensions with that vacuum device. You wanted to be able to disassemble and reassemble it. Like what Detroit Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr and Michigan Governor Rick Snyder have been trying to get away with cuts to 20,000 retirees’ pensions and current health care coverage.

M: Dude! Detroit’s Republican Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr and Republican Governor Rick Snyder are now seeking bankruptcy hearings in the court of a conservative judge because Ingham County Circuit Judge Rosemarie Aquilina ruled this past week that it was unconstitutional to take actions that would decrease the pension benefits of public employees.

D: Man! But that’s according to the Michigan’s Constitution! That’s why Kevyn Orr bypassed Judge Aquilina’s ruling completely and chose to continue with bankruptcy filing although the action is unconstitutional under the Michigan Constitution.

M: Dude! It is no surprise to anyone that the Republicans Orr and Snyder are seeking out U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes. Judge Aquilina clearly did not favor their schemes and cited they were violating Michigan’s Constitution. So, obviously, now they want to seek out a favorable verdict in federal court with the U.S. Constitution.

D: Man! So how did it happen so seamlessly?

M: Dude! Judge Rhodes was hand-selected by Chief Judge of the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals Alice Batchelder. A staunch conservative, she was appointed to the federal bench by President Ronald Reagan and then appointed to the appeals court by President George H. W. Bush.

D: Man! Can Kevyn Orr and Rick Snyder actually disregard a state judge’s ruling like they have Judge Aquilina’s?

M: Dude! Corruption has no rules of engagement. It is total anarchy, especially with the current Republican Party.

D: Man! All is quiet on the neoconservative front, have you noticed? The Republican Party is acting like it’s ushering in new perspectives like the Bush Dynasty is old school and classic presidential. George H.W. Bush was in reality overlooked by President Ford’s White House Chief of Staff Donald Rumsfeld as a potential Vice President twice.

M: Dude! I think that Mikhail Gorbachev stoked the egos of Presidents Reagan and H.W. Bush for the benefit of the people of present-day Russia. Actually, I think Gorbachev kept the destructive mechanics of the Republican GOP at a distance with his cleverness and foresight.

D: Man! I appreciate Gorbachev for his brilliance as an internationalist. Just imagine how much could have been taken from the former Soviet Union if Gorbachev had not kept the Republican presidencies of Reagan and H.W. Bush outside and outmaneuvered intellectually.

M: Dude! I sense a need for restructuring in the United States judicial system. And, most importantly, a movement to the ballot boxes during the midterm elections and most especially a joining of the different groups that are forming and marching on behalf of women’s rights and racial justice following the mass closings of Planned Parenthood Clinics across the country and Trayvon Martin having died as a result of Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.

D: Man! Governor Rick Snyder doesn’t want a government bailout and is adamant about bankruptcy being the only answer to the problem in Michigan right now. I think he and Orr and the GOP in Michigan want to figure out a way to pocket vast amounts of money, probably the pensions of retirees that they claim must be sacrificed eventually, like six months from now.

M: Dude! Governor Rick Snyder is clucking like the Mother Hen of the GOP, Representative Paul Ryan. Like the Ryan Budget, this doomsday proposal by the GOP Governor of Michigan Rick Snyder ought to be looked upon with severity.

D: Man! The United States economy is not in debt right now. We experienced a $116.5 billion surplus in June. Yet the Republican Sequestration is still in effect and furloughs have begun, the situation on the path to worsening.

M: Dude! Governor Rick Snyder has concocted a way that he can pocket loads of money before the coming elections that the GOP likes to portray themselves as having lost already. The White House has to audit these Republican-run state legislatures. I seriously sense that the funding for Planned Parenthood Clinics is probably being funneled elsewhere as well.

D: Man! I never thought to question where the funds are going to go now that Planned Parenthood Clinics have been annihilated in these Republican-run state legislatures!

M: Abortions are just 3% of the total services rendered! How does the Republican Party plan to go about caring for the children resulting from unwanted pregnancies? Are they going to naively state as Mother Teresa did that newborns could be abandoned outside her ministerial offices?

D: Man! I think they want women and girls to become just as disenfranchised as in the times of Margaret Sanger! Sanger was arrested when she, her sister, and a friend opened the first birth control clinic in Brooklyn, New York in 1916. You know, I think the state funding that was blocked from doctors and clinics that advocate for abortion rights in Texas by Judge Gary Harger on December 31, 2012 ended up in the pockets of the Republican male degenerates who do not even care to acknowledge exceptions in cases involving rape and incest.

M: Dude! Republican Attorney Generals have had a history of subpoenaing medical records of patients treated by Planned Parenthood and releasing the sealed records to the public!

D: Man! Jesus wept!

M: Dude! Jesus weeps! Look at how Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky are seriously being considered as potential presidential material for 2016! That’s like the Republican Party is setting up for a Jeb Bush or George P. Bush for 2016. After all the Tea Party train wrecks, the Republican GOP thinks it can get people to rally around the Bush Offensive!
