Man! Dude! Session #169

(M)an: Dude! The nexus that New York Senator Kristen Gillibrand is constructing with Republican Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky is a hazardous one at the very least.

(D)ude: Man! Like a slippery slope that heeds landslides?

M: Dude! Huh? Yeah? Okay? Are you okay? Your back giving you trouble?

D: Man! I fell twenty-eight inches down off my bed after being startled awake by my very own voice. I did not know I talked in my sleep. But the strangest part that really alarmed me was how I was apparently managed to carry on a conversation in two distinct voices.

M: Dude! You actually discovered that you carry on talks between yourself and you?

D: Man! It wasn’t like a Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde personality, but more like a Ying and Yang sequencing.

M: Dude! Strange case! Much like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul’s sudden alignment with Kristen Gillibrand.

D: Man! Texas and Kentucky Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul only want to pursue this issue in order to mess up the day-to-day efficiency at the Department of Defense, which is under the direction of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

M: Dude! Do you think Harry Reid and John McCain finally agreed to the nuclear option, which was given that foreboding byname in 2003 by Republican Mississippi Senator Trent Lott and was utilized only as a threat in 2005 by Republican Tennessee Senator Bill Frist to combat the Democrats’ filibustering judicial nominees of then-President George W. Bush.

D: Man! That’s just it! I think Harry Reid and John McCain seriously believed that President Obama would be a one-term president and that Mitt Romney was going to take the White House and, hence, the configuration of getting business done would have been around the constant declarations of wars abroad.

M: Dude! Really? So, President Obama’s second term was a shock to the system, which provoked the politically conservative Supreme Court to derail the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and defer the decision on Affirmative Action Policies to the lower courts?

D: Man! Yeah! And this whole situation with Democratic Senator Kristen Gillibrand and GOP-Tea Party burros Rand Paul and Ted Cruz is troublemaking in which the Special Victims’ Counsels, or SVCs, are being undermined at the very start of their implementation by Air Force JAGs who are being rigorously sought for characteristics like empathy and are specially selected by Lt. Gen. Richard Harding to stand up for the rights of victims’ of sexual abuse in the military.

M: Dude! One hundred percent of airmen in the Air Force who have received Special Victims’ Counsel have reported extreme satisfaction with the services they have received and, let’s keep this in mind too that the SVCs are not charged to prosecute on behalf of the victim, but to represent the best interests of their assigned clients. Many male victims are deciding to report sexual assault as a result of the authenticity in care and concern that they receive from their SVCs. A lot of the victims many times prefer their perpetrators go for therapy and rehab instead of serve jail time.

D: Man! Trayvon Martin’s family should have received the same services as provided by the SVCs in the military.

M: Dude! Yeah, the United States Judicial System needs to provide similar services to the families of victims and the victims themselves, if possible. But a lot of Air Force judges do not like the presence of SVCs in their courtrooms due to the technicality that the SVCs are trained prosecutors nevertheless and that would be in favor of the victim’s case before the courts.

D: Man! Are SVCs favoring the victims? That’s an astonishing notion! Talk about double-edged swords! Wow! It cuts both ways against the victim of the heinous sex crimes, doesn’t it?

M: Dude! It’s going to take a lot of time and a lot more uncorrupted Democratic Party Presidents like Barack Obama. In fact, I think the Republican Party must be held accountable for obstructing as much as they did and not be elected into positions of power in 2013 and the 2014 midterms. Their misbehaviors are direct attacks on the rights of women and minorities in the United States. The Republican Party will only continue to solidify its irrevocable supremacist injustices, not matter how much Democrats like New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand would like to believe otherwise about thugs like Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky.

D: Man! Do you think the Civil Rights Movement has reawakened in the wake of an unarmed Trayvon Martin being shot to death and his prosecutor and the defense team for the murderer salting the wounds of the nation and the Martin families with their insensitivity and lack of regard for the life of an African American teenager who only meant to make a quick run over to the corner store for candy and tea before returning to a championship game?

M: Dude! Remember how students from the local high school near Texas Occidental Franchise University would spend weekends and summer nights outside in their cars, with blaring music and screaming teenage girls and boys laughing and making out in deserted parking lots?

D: Man! I really thought that those teenagers and college students were tacky and cheap.

M: Dude! But did they ever get reprimanded from the local patrol cops?

D: Man! No! The patrol cops only jutted into the mess of howling hoodlums to see whether there were any minority men in the hoopla.

M: Dude! George H. W. Bush ushered in a time to kill and his son George W. Bush continued the sickening practice. I don’t remember the “thousand points of light” speech, but I do remember the subsequent “thousand points” of plight and the way Iraq and Afghanistan have been reduced to such deplorable ghost towns with the living dead sending their sons to trek the thousands of miles to places like asylum-granting Sweden, it is that unbelievable wretchedness that the GOP wants to spread and will if they are not exterminated in the midterm elections!
