Man! Dude! Session #164

(D)ude: Man! I came across several sources online revealing Texas Governor Rick Perry’s ties to that video store that was located near Texas Occidental Franchise University, not Blockbuster, but the other one with the side ways “V” in its logo.

(M)an: Dude! Yeah! It specifically looks like “O” is greater than “I” with that side ways “V”… What about Movie Gallery and Rick Perry did you discover?

D: Man! Movie Gallery is the most prolific pornography distributor in the United States and Governor Rick Perry’s Personal Financial Statement from 1995 clearly states his investing in 32 stocks, which included category “B” stocks in Movie Gallery Inc.

M: Dude! How much does a category “B” stock amount to exactly?

D: Man! Somewhere between 5 and 10 thousand dollars, but keep in mind that Governor Rick Perry’s so-called “tort reform bill” relaxed the regulations on companies like Movie Gallery Inc. so that, as Perry said, “remove the incentive for trial lawyers to file frivolous lawsuits”… and, get this, Perry went on to make the declaration that Texans would “save thousands of jobs, generate millions in new revenues to the state”…

M: Dude! Governor Rick Perry is subjecting our daughters to physical and psychological health trauma and all-out degradation with his middle of the night legislative antiabortion maneuvers that essentially will dismantle women’s reproductive health rights by closing down modernized Planned Parenthood clinics that the Republican GOP vilify.

D: Man! And the guy’s, basically, being allowed since the mid-1990s to keep running over progressive measures like comprehensive sex education in public schools, implementing the Affordability Care Act, and protecting a woman’s right to make decisions concerning her own body.

M: Dude! Governor Rick Perry’s personal financial footing in Movie Gallery Inc. would only complicate matters that are actually quadrupled considering the deregulatory measures he has set forth, probably to avoid any investigations by the State of Texas into his own affairs.

D: Man! If his affairs cannot be investigated and his personal assets are in a blind trust fund, Governor Rick Perry can only be lassoed and thrown out by either the people of Texas who have shown such support for Wendy Davis and will be convening on the State Capitol steps on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, or Planned Parenthood itself.

M: Dude! What if I were to file a case against The State Of Texas for not being able to engage in day-to-day society effectively because of an ongoing battle with medically uninsured customers who transfer their coughs and colds onto me, making me lose my balance on ladders and during heavy duty lifting at the hardware store?

D: Man! What if Planned Parenthood were to file a case against The State Of Texas for not being able to defend women’s rights against unreasonable searches and seizures of the clinics that stand up for women’s autonomy and enhance the quality of life for their patients?

M: Dude! I agree Article IV of The United States Constitution is being violated in Texas by these thieves that prowl and perpetuate backwardness upon a nation in middle of the night like what’s happening now in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, Alabama, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, South Dakota, Montana, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, and Idaho as well.

D: Man! That’s almost half the United States of America! The Voting Rights Act of 1965’s provision that essentially gave the federal government the ability to intervene if there was reason to suspect or evidence to suggest that there were violations against voters’ rights, was killed by five male justices of the United States Supreme Court.

M: Dude! Justices Alito, Kennedy, Scalia, Thomas, and Roberts are not going to be written about in history books with disdain. I looked up Manifest Destiny on Wikipedia and found that the writers had included George W. Bush as one of the presidents to go down in its controversial history as having shaped a similar plan of implementation in Iraq and Afghanistan.

D: Man! What! What? Wikipedia actually listed George W. Bush as a contributor alongside other presidents? Which presidents have the dishonor of sharing space with George W. Bush under Manifest Destiny?

M: Dude! I cannot disrespect them herein! There are too many present-day Republican hypocrites sending US backwards, yet Wikipedia actually extols George W. Bush for having pulled his approval rating up since vacating the White House premises.

D: Man! I think Laura Bush confirmed that George W. reports to his White House office replica at the presidential library on the SMU campus every afternoon. He likes to keep office hours as well with the local fraternities and sororities and will be installing a Mr. Coffee right before the start of the fall semester.

M: Dude! I think his presidential dollhouse on the SMU campus is amiss. I would much rather prefer to see him and Cheney and Rice and Rumsfeld being held accountable for the deaths of all those Americans who died on 9/11/01. I seriously believe that an underhanded Christian Brotherhood is supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and the Taliban, essentially all these radical right-wingers like the ones who proudly outlawed sharia law in Texas fairly recently.

D: Man! There is a separation between Church and State in the United States, isn’t there?

M: Dude! I’m not sure anymore. Special interests-lobbyists-billionaires in the United States can easily buy the Congressional Republicans, as the Muslim Brotherhood and Taliban are essentially on sale and can be bought quite cheaply. Income differentials are widening and the richest 20% on earth generate three-quarters of the world’s income.

D: Man! That last statistic supports Dale Carnegie’s theory about why anybody would want to be altruistic and that’s because everyone wants to be recognized as having been significant! Otherwise, why don’t the top 2% distribute their wealth to finance solutions for the millions of women who spend considerable hours everyday collecting water? Water and sanitation deficits are costly wastes, like the Republican Budget Proposal that only desires to provide its enforcers with the perks and privileges of the American elite!

M: Dude! Do you think Abraham Maslow ever imagined that people like the Republican Party would be regressing to stages of an entirely different chart summarizing their socioeconomic plunder and henceforth contracted moves to secure only their own patriarchal lives?

D: Man! Yes! And they have essentially annihilated the hierarchy of needs like that construction company that destroyed a 2,300 year old pyramid in Belize for gravel road fill, their United States counterparts preparing to wipe out aquifers and gorgeous natural landscapes for the Keystone Pipeline XL!
