Man! Dude! Session #194

(D)ude: Man! The Daily Beast’s Josh Rogin reported this morning of how a senior Republican Senate aide mentioned quote unquote This is a disgrace. Even North Korea is willing to send gas masks to the side they are backing.

(M)an: Dude! North Korea? According to South Korea’s largest daily newspaper Chosun Ilbo, North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un ordered a firing squad execution of his onetime ex-girlfriend Hyon Song Wol and eleven members of the preeminent acting troupes of North Korea.

D: Man! When? What? Where?

M: Dude! On August 20, 2013, Kim Jong Un followed through with the firing squad execution of his one-time on and off again girlfriend Hyon Song Wol. The ruler’s father had disapproved of the younger Jong Un’s choice of women, hence when the elder Jong Il died, his successor married another female performer Ri Sol Ju.

D: Man! Did Hyon Song Wol get charged for any crimes?

M: Dude! On the grounds of pornography, but after seeing one of her videos vindicating the hard work and toil of laborers, I am now convinced that she and the eleven others were revolutionaries and sentenced to die because of their message of plausible better tomorrows for their people.

D: Man! How safe is Ri Sol Ju?

M: Dude! I think Ri Sol Ju became irate when she was often mistaken for being Hyon Song Wol and probably had a hand in Jong Un’s decision to execute the singing troupe in front of their families who were jailed because of the cruel practice of punishing relatives as well as the indicted.

D: Man! Do you think Ri Sol Ju is next? I think so. And I’ll tell you why. I think Jong Un’s sexual orientation is ambiguous at best and, like the British Parliament that ridiculed Oscar Wilde for his homosexual orientation when indeed many members of Parliament exercised sexual ambiguity themselves, has a harem of male personal assistants.

M: Dude! In all fairness, I think Jong Un’s harem consists of equal parts female assistants as male assistants.

D: Man! Fine!

M: Dude! Montgomery County Philadelphia is in the news for having revoked the marriage licenses 150 plus same sex couples were issued since July 24, 2013 on the grounds that the licenses were issued when marriage equality had never existed there. The Republican Governor Tom Corbett’s attorneys paralleled the issue with underage child marriages that too have been banned due to a 1996 law.

D: Man! That’s what happens when gerrymandering and GOP cheating is made acceptable by the status quo and the Supreme Court of the United States guts the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The Reverend Al Sharpton is scheduled to meet with black leaders including Condoleezza Rice, George W. Cheney’s Secretary of State. I hope the Reverend hasn’t reverted back to his conservative roots. I hope he will hold Condoleezza Rice accountable for having maimed countless of our sons and daughters in uniform on  fallacious weapons of mass destruction claims and, instead, invite Colin Powell to evaluate the direction the country has taken since the wrap up of Iraq II and the Afghanistan War.

M: Dude! This tribal diversity in the Middle East has me confused to a certain extent after which I wonder about the months of the Islamic Calendar, particularly the first and most sacred of all Muharram.

D: Man! Does Muharram have anything to do with the separation between the Shia and the Sunni, the two major Muslim sects?

M: Dude! Actually, N.J. Dawood’s translation of The Koran includes background information that the Prophet Mohammed had been able to keep Arab tribes and caravans calm and within a monotheistic unity until his death, when formal rulers ascended to power, like the successor of Caliph Abu Bakr, Caliph Umar I who had even greater ambitions than the one before him in terms of expanding what would become the Islamic Empire.

D: Man! When you mix worship and warfare, the results cannot be without significant pain and suffering from within and without!

M: Dude! Arabian paganism was in fashion at the time the Prophet Mohammed came and ended idolatry. Ironically, Arabian paganism incorporated an Allah who had multiple daughters who were deities worshipped by those living in the region we now refer to as the Arabian peninsula. Mohammed, however, had studied the Jewish and Christian perspectives and basically constructed a faith that implored an educated monotheistic sophistication while renouncing the power of performances of miracles.

D: Man! Sounds like the Prophet Mohammed reinforced a stricter monotheistic perspective than the Jews and the Christians. He brought unity to a region divided up into multiple bodies of polytheistic claims.

M: Dude! The Prophet Mohammed had the advantage of time over the Jews and Christians, having studied their histories and religious texts. There is no valid reason for the violence that erupts during Muharram. It is a time of grief for both the Shia and the Sunni. Hussein was beheaded in battle and Hasan was poisoned at home. However, they are depicted as having been killed while children by mourners.

D: Man! Then how did the division and unrest happen? And the last point you made, do you think they reverted accidentally to semi-idolatry by depicting Hussein and Hasan as small children?

M: Dude! Manmade distractions like the kind the GOP is creating right now in the United States and world. Interests in the Syrian civil war crises are distractions from the big picture, which is that the world right now needs the United States to reconsider the Republican Sequestration and the subsequent challenges to our economy for the sake of the world economy.

D: Man! I get it! Chris Christie is changing New Jersey culture for the worse and needs to have his foulmouthed remarks towards his own constituents listed and read back to him! How can the people of New Jersey want representation from a blatantly disrespectful thug? Disrespect is only moments away from vulgarity, which leads to  all-out perversion and callousness!

M: Dude! Likewise, the Sunni and the Shia bring up topics of poverty and housing and education to their leaders too. It is a common ground for both the Sunni and the Shia. But you have corrupt officials that construct manmade distractions from the economics of sustenance for the multitude while hiring people to obstruct justice against the complaints of the likes of activists, game changers like Hyon song Wol and her public service announcements disguised in song and dance videos for mass distribution. It is censorship where the censor claims to have unfounded evidence of illicitness when in fact it was just a musical revelation of the unjust toiling inside factories.

D: Man! The culture of deterioration begins with publicly humiliating one’s own delegation! That’s what Chris Christie is doing right now in New Jersey.
