Feel the Bern! Yes, Tim Canova is a Democrat! A 21st Century Democrat! Don't believe the hype from the press or his rival that progressives and independents are worlds apart from the United States Democratic Party. The 10% within our leadership ranks have been bought but we can vote them out! Change is possible. Don't give up!

(M)an: Dude! The Fort Worth Star Telegram refuses to differentiate the Republican Party members in local governments across North Texas from members of the Democratic Party. It confuses and discourages Democratic voters from participating in local elections across Fort Worth. I know, because I cast a ballot today in a precinct Democratic runoff and encountered so many hurdles trying to figure out who, what, when, where, and why.

(D)ude: Man! Who, what, when, where, and why?

M: Dude! I called the Tarrant County Democratic Party after searching for a sample ballot. I had downloaded two separate sample ballots, one dating May 7, 2016 and the other dating May 24, 2016, and the guys I spoke with over the phone informed me that there was just one runoff election being held today, thus the content on the sample ballot dated May 24, 2016 fitting in just a quarter of the space on the paper I had printed out at the public library.

D: Man! I got your message and went to vote in the Democratic runoff election for Tarrant County Railroad Commissioner. Was there an election on May, 7, 2016 that we missed?

M: Dude! The Texas Democratic Party must improve outreach to voters. The hurdles I had to overcome made me realize how we got to this point that the Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Shultz is favoring Hillary Rodham Clinton to the point of construing misinformation and outright lies about Bernie Sanders’ campaign and supporters.

D: Man! Hillary Clinton refuses to differentiate herself from the Republican Party! And her campaign surrogates like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and strategists Jim Messina and Joel Benenson have succumbed to Clinton’s duplicitous agenda to lose the presidency to Donald Trump on November 8, 2016. That’s why they choke on their own spit and insincerely (and very incoherently) make the case for Hillary Clinton already having achieved the Democratic nomination.

M: Dude! New York Daily News’ Shaun King has abandoned US right when the race for the Democratic nomination between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders is getting intensely fierce. Shaun King is too great a talent to part ways with the Democratic Party! The party has just begun and there will be tightrope walks we’re going to have to go out on a limb to conquer injustice, but it is Shaun King’s wisdom and cuttingly sharp perspective that will lead us through the realization that Hillary Clinton must not be entrusted with the Democratic nomination because she is a double-dealing double-crosser. Hillary Clinton has signed off all our hopes and dreams to the Republican Party underhandedly for hundreds of millions of dollars. Hillary Clinton mustn’t be trusted by Democratic voters in the remaining caucuses and primaries, she is refusing to debate Bernie Sanders even when there are easily two weeks between now and the next (and final) round of primaries and caucuses.

D: Man! Shaun King must understand Hillary Clinton’s calculated attempts to ruin the Democratic Party for her own personal wealth attainment. He mustn’t leave the Democratic Party, but—as he has written so beautifully in his articles online for the New York Daily News—face Hillary Clinton’s treacheries with restraint and write even more engaging pieces about the injustices in this election cycle due to the removal of campaign finance reform from American politics. Bernie Sanders is a Democratic contender and this argument that Hillary Clinton and her supporters and surrogates make that Bernie Sanders hasn’t been a Democrat for long is nonsense. Bernie Sanders is a Democrat because he is an independent thinker and a champion of the people of the United States and their pains, from terminally ill patients to wounded veterans returning home to workers like us who are physically deteriorating because of exhaustive work schedules without living wages. Bernie Sanders embodies the Democratic Platform.

M: Dude! Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s reelection campaign tactics make apparent why Democratic voters must not lose hope and surrender their dreams to Hillary Clinton. Democratic voters must rise up and challenge the establishment by making sure Bernie Sanders wins by huge margins in the remainder of the primaries and caucuses. If people show up in huge numbers to vote and not fall into the trap of taking Hillary Clinton for her word that she is the presumptive nominee and this presidential primary season has been decided in her favor, Bernie Sanders will become the Democratic nominee!

D: Man! Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Hillary Clinton are not Democrats. They are political sellouts to such incendiary personalities as neoconservatives like Karl Rove, who is fighting to get Debbie Wasserman-Schultz reelected in Florida as is Hillary Clinton. The strategy Representative Wasserman-Schultz is utilizing to try convincing voters from Florida’s 23rd Congressional District to support her in the Florida primary this August is by differentiating Democrats from “progressives” and “independents.” It is a strategy that Hillary Clinton is hoping will discourage huge voter turnout in the remaining primaries and caucuses and the general election that she’s prepared to lose to the Republican Party candidate. Hillary Clinton hopes to be running against a constant helpmate, Jeb Bush, this November.

M: Dude! Feel the Bern! Hillary Clinton’s staged her loss and is going after the hideous and destructive Republican contender Donald Trump as if she has no idea of the equally hideous and destructive Jeb Bush and his hidden ambitions. Did you read about Jeb Bush’s son, Republican Texas Land Commissioner George Prescott Bush, using taxpayer dollars to provide severance pay to the General Land Office staffers that he let go after winning office, in exchange that they not sue him? According to Fox News Latino yesterday,

According to the Houston Chronicle, Bush—a first-term Republican and son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush—told the General Land Office to keep at least 40 people on the payroll for up to five months after they were fired. These former employees did not have to use vacation time and would accrue more paid time as long as they made an agreement in writing not to file a lawsuit against the agency or discuss the deal.

The firings were part of a “reboot” when Bush took office and replaced nearly 100 employees working for former Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson.
The report found that, under Bush, the General Land Office (GLO) “has given out nearly 1,850 days of pay to ex-staffers, costing taxpayers at least $655,000 in salaries, plus the additional costs for benefits that the ex-staffers received in that time, including leave accruals, health insurance and retirement contributions.”
While these deals sometimes are made in the corporate world, they are not allowed in Texas’ government – it has no severance pay and staffers are required to show to work to be paid.

"I can understand the thinking of an agency head who wants to get rid of someone and thinks that this is an easy way to do it, but this is not the way to do it," Buck Wood, an ethics expert and former deputy state comptroller, told the Houston Chronicle. "Keeping someone on the payroll when they're not coming to work so you can avoid the hassle of a lawsuit is just illegal."

D: Man! Double standards like these from the Republicans are going to boom if their helpmate Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee in this presidential elections cycle because she is a Republican operative! She’s already destroyed the system of debates and town halls while treating US like we’re inconsequential!

M: Dude! Speaking of Texas, have you heard of Republicans Pete Sessions of Texas and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana inside the United States House of Representatives introducing legislation that will give every adult, in Texas for example, a one-time $2,500 tax credit to purchase health coverage and in the process wreak havoc upon the employer-based health care system in Texas? Targeting the Affordable Care Act by giving ordinary folks like us checks for $2,500 and then pulling the carpet from underneath US! That’s the Republican Plan of action against the Affordable Care Act! That’s why it is crucial to Feel the Bern right now! Hillary Clinton is aligned with the Republican Party in deceiving us now, wait until she closes the doors of the White House and resumes hidden agendas from the Oval Office versus the Obama Administration’s adopting transparency as a standard to ensure best practices within government.

D: Man! Feel the Bern! It’s not over until we get it right! And Bernie Sanders is, and rightly so, the people’s candidate! And the Democratic Party must forego the 10%ers inside the Democratic Party, like Hillary Clinton and Barbara Boxer and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who are collapsing democracy and diplomacy in America because they have accepted money from Republican donors in exchange for doing just that. The 90% of the Democratic Party not bought by Republican donors must come forward and the superdelegates at the Democratic National Convention must abide by the will of the people, and that will will be found soon in the remaining Democratic primaries and caucuses! People are feeling the Bern and will vote to reinvigorate political accountability within the Democratic Party by selecting and electing Bernie Sanders!
