(M)an: Dude! What are you reading?
(D)ude: Man! Andrew C. McCarthy III has written a book due
out next month about impeaching President Obama for basically hiring advisors
who will assist him with the gridlock from Congressional Republicans under the
leadership of Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner and Senate
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
M: Dude! The British Daily
Mail tabloid has compared President Obama to British ex-Prime Minister Tony
Blair and The Weekly Standard has
reported that the Democratic Party in the United States is fundraising off that McCarthy book, Faithless Execution: Building
the Political Case for Obama’s Impeachment.
D: Man! The American Press is not picking up on the fact
that Andrew C. McCarthy’s book is being recommended alongside literary hates Glenn Beck, Dr. Ben
Carson, Timothy Sandefur, Dinesh
D’Souza, and Charles Murray.
M: Dude! Glenn Beck’s in the news as of late because that
backwoodsman Republican Representative from Texas Louie Gohmert is certain that
Comcast’s David Cohen is conspiring to keep Beck from airing his network The
Blaze, while, according to the intellectually challenged and tongue-tied, by
his own ranting remember, Gohmert insisting, “And
it was reported that Al Jazeera wanted to get their Sharia law push into the
United States, and they were willing to pay big bucks… but they wouldn’t do the
deal unless Comcast was willing to keep them in its list of networks provided.
So it was reported Comcast agreed, so Al Gore got all that oil and carbon based
money. Then, that kept Glenn Beck off the air. Of Comcast.”
D: Man! Dr. Ben Carson’s been in the news a lot since
appearing on Sean Hannity’s Faux News Channel show in March of 2013 with this offensive
charge, “Marriage is between a man and
a woman. It’s a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group,
be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality—it
doesn’t matter what they are, they don’t get to change the definition.”
M: Dude! Timothy Sandefur’s got a couple of books
listed alongside the
abovementioned chumps online on Amazon. Here Sandefur offers a start to the
impeachment nonsense, on January 16, 2014, “The
clash between the classical liberalism of the Constitution—which holds that
individual rights are primary, and democracy is secondary, and limited by
individual rights—and the “wolf’s view” of politics—which holds the power of
the majority as primary, and sees rights as privileges given to the individual by
the majority—persisted into the twentieth century. Although the Court had dealt
the deathblow to the Privileges or Immunities Clause, it did continue, in a
limited way, to protect individual rights under the Due of Law Clause of the
Fourteenth Amendment. This was through the doctrine now called “Substantive Due
Process”… (In Chapters 3 and 4 of The
Conscience of The Constitution, I explain why Substantive Due Process is
the correct reading of the Due Process Clause—notwithstanding the mountains of
scorn heaped on it by both left and right. But I won’t repeat that here, since
I touched on the issue when I last guest-blogged here, and also wrote about it
at Cato Unbound two years ago.)… The
focus of the clash was never so much the concept of “substantive due
process”—which was almost universally accepted until the New Deal Era—as it was
over the nature of sovereignty and the relationship between liberty and
democracy.”
D: Man! Huh? Sounds like the instructors from the Koch
Institute for Management are all invested in the Inurbane Studies specialization
especially. In fact, I overheard that Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida
is the first distinguished graduate in the Inurbane Studies curriculum. Did you
hear Rubio’s senseless, baseless disregard towards climate change being a human
phenomenon and spearheading with Robert M. Gates an effort to reinstate the war
on terrorism?
M: Dude! This is what Republican Senator Marco Rubio had to
say last week about EPA regulations via implementation of the Clean Air Act, “Here’s what we need to do as policy
makers—because that’s what the president is, he’s not a meteorologist. He’s
proposing a certain set of policies that he would have to admit, if questioned,
will do nothing if in fact these scientists are right and it’s greenhouse gas
emissions that are changing our climate, none of the things he’s proposing
would do anything to change whatsoever, but it would have a devastating impact
on our economy.”
D: Man! Marco Rubio’s economy is the same as that of David
and Charles Koch, and the average American cannot empathize with such nonsense
coming from such hooeys as Marco
Rubio, who is considering running for the presidency in 2016 as well as provoking
Islamic fundamentalists to recommit to invading our beloved country, “Vast,
ungoverned spaces have opened up in Syria where the government doesn’t control
the territory and it increasingly has become the premiere operational space on
the planet for radical jihadists to train and operate. I will make a prediction
to you tonight that if things continue the way they are, soon we will see
attacks staged against our interests and, God forbid, perhaps even our homeland
from those ungoverned spaces in Syria. What happens with these problems around
the world is they eventually come for us.”
M: Dude! And you said that Bob Gates said something similar
to what Rubio is proclaiming?
D: Man! This is how Robert Gates resurrected, on Face The Nation yesterday, Henry
Kissinger and Richard Nixon and, I earnestly believe, has ushered in another
era of the Bush Dynasty, this time Jeb Bush being the major emphasis for the
next presidential election cycle, “Nixon
and Kissinger I think don't get the credit they deserve for diverting attention
from our loss in Vietnam by their initiatives with the Soviet Union and China
in the early 1970s, which sent the message to the rest of the world, We may
have had this problem in Vietnam, but the United States is still going to be
the preeminent superpower in this world. And we're still going to be in the
catbird seat when it comes to dealing with the major powers. Unfortunately,
there aren't opportunities like that right now. And the more the only message
people hear is that we're coming home and we're going to do nation building at
home, the more they wonder whether we will be there for them if they're needed,
if we're needed.”
M: Dude! What about the atrocious stories of George Walker
Bush’s foreign policy? Bob Gates calls President Obama’s foreign policy a sad
low point, but what about our sons and daughters in uniform and their best
interests? Do we send them in the clutches of death and devastation just
because Assad is ruthlessly annihilating his own people with chemical attacks?
It’s not like Assad is living a life devoid of chaos and unrest himself. Robert
Gates and Marco Rubio and the Republican establishment are refocused on
immobilizing if not annihilating everybody that has not been baptized like
vacating Governor of Texas Rick Perry did last month in the same creek that Sam
Houston emerged out of after his baptism in 1854 and professed, “I pity the fish downstream.”
D: Man! Rick Perry upset an entire ecosystem in order to reconnect
with the Lord? Those black-rimmed glasses cannot fool anyone! Rick Perry has
just as much gas upstairs as he has shares in the adult film industry through
shares in the movie rental franchise Movie Gallery. This is the true nature of
the Republican Party: Cannot get around without fooling around!
M: Dude! What about the Benghazi, Libya hearings being
scheduled by the Select Committee headed by South Carolina Republican
Representative Harold Watson “Trey” Gowdy III? Should the Democrats be
boycotting the hearings before they’re even launched?
D: Man! No. No. No. The Benghazi hearings should not be
boycotted. The Republican Party will win the 2014 midterms, as they did the
2010 midterms, if the Democrats do not support President Obama and his
administration unconditionally.
M: Dude! I believe the Democrats are just as intolerant and
racist towards the President and his administration as the Republican Party. Nancy
Pelosi and Harry Reid are insincere in their efforts to combat the hatred and
the mythology that the Koch Brothers have invested over nine figures into
already. I believe the last time I read, David and Charles Koch had plans to
pour in at least $125M.
D: Man! I’m suspecting that the Koch Brothers have
infiltrated the Democratic Party leadership too. Darrell Issa and Trey Gowdy
are one and the same: Faces change, but evil remains. A rotten egg is a rotten
egg! The sulfuric mayhem it exhibits remains no matter how many times you think
you can fight the odor anew with another spoiled egg that is essentially built
to fail odorously.
M: Dude! There’s one quote by Bob Gates from
yesterday’s Face The Nation that you
overlooked and that I would like to emphasize. Robert M. Gates said something
quite curious about the real threat facing the United States in the following assertion,
“I
think the greatest national security threat to this country at this point is
the two square miles that encompasses the Capitol building and the White House…
If we can't get some of our problems solved here at home, if we can't get our
finances in a more ordered fashion, if we can't begin to tackle some of the
internal issues that we have, if we can't get some compromises on the Hill that
move the country forward, then I think these foreign threats recede
significantly into, as far as being a risk to the well-being and the future of
this country.”
D: Man! There was a White House security breach over the
weekend, did you know?
M: Dude! Do you think the Republican Party is poised to
attack and retreat upon the President’s premises?
D: Man! I think the Democratic Party leadership and
membership resents President Obama’s outlook and optimism too.
M: Dude! Which brings US to the last two authors associated
with Andrew C. McCarthy III, Dinesh D’Souza and Charles Murray.
D: Man! Dinesh D’Souza has said a lot against the “cultural
left” including the following about how 9/11 is primarily the responsibility of
the “cultural left”… “The cultural left
in this country is responsible for causing 9/11 ... the cultural left and its
allies in Congress, the media, Hollywood, the non-profit sector and the
universities are the primary cause of the volcano of anger toward America that
is erupting from the Islamic world.”
M: Dude! Charles Alan Murray is the co-author of Paul Ryan’s
second favorite all-time read, after Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged of course, and that is The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life.
D: Man! Page 127 of Charles Murray’s pseudoscientific brouhaha
states, “But it should also be noted
that young white adults who marry are seldom in poverty, even if they are below
average in intelligence or education. Even in these more complicated analyses,
low IQ continues to be a much stronger precursor of poverty than the
socioeconomic circumstances in which people grow up.”
M: Dude! Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan and New Jersey
Governor Chris Christie were too shortsighted to become Democrats. That’s why
both insensate goons turned to the neoconservative party tilting, Ryan making
numerous office visits to his professor Richard Hart, the libertarian who
introduced the perpetual sophomoric inarticulate to the National Review and secured him an internship with Wisconsin
Republican Senator Bob Kasten where Ryan picked up his foreign affairs know-not
and whatnots.
D: Man! Excellent point! Governor Thomas Kean came to show
and tell, or career day, at Christie’s junior high school, which lit the neoconservative
gaslight in the dim lit twit.
M: Dude! Chris Christie placed the blame on President Obama
for New Jersey’s failing economy, “What we’re
being told initially is that this is the effect of the change in the law at the
end of 2012 by the Obama administration and the Congress to increase tax rates
on upper-level individuals”…
D: Man! The Republican Governor of Kansas Sam Brownback is
also placing the blame for his state’s bond rating downgrade on President
Obama’s shoulders too! This is what he had to say in a statement from his
office, “What we are seeing today is the
effect of tax increases implemented by the Obama administration that resulted
in lower income tax payments and a depressed business environment. The failed
economic policies of the Obama administration are affecting states throughout
the nation.”
M: Dude! What about the Republican Governors’ Association’s latest
campaign entitled, American Comeback?
Their latest online two-timing claims, “The
answers are not coming from Washington. Republican Governors are driving
America’s comeback.”
D: Man! They’re only roasting marshmallows while the
billionaires roast them with bundles of dollar bills stuffed in their mouths.
And I’m suspecting Democrats are aligning themselves conveniently against
President Obama because they too are being guaranteed underhanded fortunes for
their surrendering principles and ethics.
M: Dude! The price only needs to be right in order to
deflate the fight! The threats to the White House are coming from the
neoconservatives, not Islamists!
D: Man! And George W. Bush needs to be retroactively
dismissed from the presidency!
M: Dude! Pray for US!
