Man! Dude! Session #240 President Putin's Days of Diplomacy

(D)ude: Man! We’re going to be losing a lot of talent in 2015. Lady Gaga and Richard Branson are scheduled to rocket into space and hold a series of concerts there as the Virgin Mobile mogul and the megastar musician converge for a rather epic farewell tour.

(M)an: Dude! While I will cry for her, I cannot bring myself to feel anything remotely anywhere near the Boulevard of Broken Dreams for him.

D: Man! Richard Branson will not be missed at the Caribbean tax haven conferences keynoted by George W. Bush and attendees like Mitt Romney. However, his brandishing about Phil Collins’ success affording him a private island will be terribly missed. Just terribly!

M: Dude! Terribly missed and just terribly? I agree with the latter myself. I react just terribly whenever I am tuning into a channel on Apple Radio and it gets taken over by Phil Collins’ crooning and pleading ways.

D: Man! Does he croon and plead for a day when baldness will be no more?

M: Dude! I don’t know! Go ask John Boehner! His caucus is the manufacturer of austere circumstances that collapse upon the lives of the working poor.

D: Man! I did! John Boehner gave me an ambiguously repetitive negative and asked to see my report card. Did you know that he’s carrying decorative pencils with those holiday erasers on the end with which he omits whatever college students and children request him to scrap off?

M: Dude! I have found out that the eraser on his current seasonal pencil has been reduced to Santa’s waistline.

D: Man! Thanksgiving is still one week away and he’s begun using Christmas stationery?

M: Dude! Talking about Boehner’s stationery, the Congressional Republicans are infiltrating the foreign policies that Secretary of State John Kerry, and Hillary Rodham Clinton before him, reestablished after George W. Bush and Dick Cheney’s premeditated horrors.

D: Man! We have to get the American Voter to realize what is at stake here. The United States of America is endangered in the eyes of our allies. We are infected legislatively with dangerous supremacist sentimentalists. However, if you listen to world news channels like BBC America and Al Jazeera America, there is a transparency that is not found anymore in national news in the United States.

M: Dude! If it weren’t for the two you just mentioned, I would not have known that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting with President Putin in Moscow today to discuss their countries’ situations with regards to Iran and the Ukraine. I believe the Republican Party is exporting its own xenophobic and corrupt agenda upon the Russians and Israelis in an attempt to isolate the Iranians and Ukrainians and perhaps trample all the peace processes that have been taking place since the decision to diplomatically resolve problems, not just heedlessly beginning a situation that has always proved ruinous in the new millennium, which is all forms of warfare.

D: Man! Warfare is the way the United States status quo retains its wealth and stronghold in world markets. It’s the way to perpetuate poverty and instability and total destruction. When Kentucky Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul and Florida Governors Jeb Bush then and Bobby Jindal nowadays promote their evangelical brand of quote unquote Christendom, they also promote an intolerance where there ought to be constitutional soundness that permits and celebrates freedom of religion.

M: Dude! The both of us are White, Christian, and male! We need to mobilize our brothers and sisters in every income bracket to the polls to cast their ballot in order to restore the social safety nets and democracy in the United States. Right now, we’ve got gerrymandering anarchists who have surfaced and unmasked their offensive policies upon the world.

D: Man! The Financial Times reported something interesting about the EU’s intolerance towards Eastern Europe joining their organization. And that’s the reason why Netanyahu and Putin are probably meeting in Moscow, because the EU has negotiated what turned out to be essentially very unstable and half-hearted commitments to Armenia just this past September and the Ukraine this month.

M: Dude! The EU needs to back away from making half-hearted promises and overcome its own prejudicial anxieties about Eastern Europe. President Putin is dealing far more compassionately with Ukraine as its spokesperson on matters involving the EU.

D: Man! If the EU is so hesitant about accepting Eastern European nations, then President Putin is correct to want to represent them and speak on their behalf. And I believe Putin has every right to want the Eurasian Customs Union to become a robust force for the world to acknowledge finally.

M: Dude! The conservatives, the status quo, lean towards war confidence and that was actually resolved for the United States by the American Revolutionary War in the eighteenth century.

D: Man! The conservatives and the status quo lean towards Western sovereignty by all means necessary and that was actually discredited by the Russo-Japanese War at the start of the twentieth century.

M: Dude! Admiral Heihachiro Togo’s leading the Japanese fleet to victory in the Battle of Tsushima brought an unprecedented fraternity throughout Central and South Asia. Parents of newborns in China and in India named their arrival descendants Togo, while the West was left speechless.

D: Man! The West did not remain speechless. Quite the contrary, the jabber got vindictive and has remained so towards Eurasia since! But President Putin is trying to introduce self-efficacy and self-sufficiency in hopes of uplifting the depressions left in place by centuries of exploitation, whether it is fraying imperialism or booming technology. People ought not judge President Putin as an atheist because he may just be the man of the hour who can bridge the divides that keep the world resistant.

M: Dude! Diplomacy and constant negotiations, not warfare and constant battles! President Putin’s op-ed in the New York Times was the first step towards international unity and openhearted open-mindedness. The USA and the EU need to read it once more without casting judgment upon its author.

D: Man! Diplomacy, not death! Death to death!
